Sherman is too good for them

As though the Trumpist party wanted to prove that it was an anti American cabal attempting a coup against our constitution, Trump confidant, recently pardoned felon liar Michael Flynn has endorsed a plan to initiate Martial Law and overturn the election!  

These traitors would throw away the legacy of every election since Washington in deference to their proto-dictator Trump!  

Make no mistake,  Once he had the power of military rule in his hands, he would not release it, and NO "re-vote" would result in anything other than his victory.    Such an event would end American Democracy for ever!  

But what would happen if he ordered it?  Trump is not as popular as Republican presidents have been, support for him seems to have slid a great deal and his "purge" of popular officers have not helped matters.   Meanwhile,  those serving in uniform swear loyalty to the Constitution not the President.   When the President issues an order that violates the Constitution, how will that play out? 

Would the military refuse the order?   That seems to be what happened over the summer when it was DOJ thugs playing dress up, not the military assaulting Social Justice demonstrators in the street.  

Would the military be divided?   Would some refuse the order, and even defend the nation from the Trumpist coup?   Would the 108K armed Liberals stand with them?  

Would this be the opening of a Civil War?  Trumpists vs the United States?  

If so,  it cannot be forgiven, and I hope that we have learned the lesson of the last Civil War.   Swift and harsh action ends such unconstitutional insurrection.   If Trumpism attempts to overthrow the Constitution we should be ready to deal with them as Sherman would have.
